Class Topics

Below are just a few suggestions for classes. We want to work with you to make sure that you have the learning experience you want.

 

All the classes listed below are $20 an hour unless otherwise specified. Most classes run about one hour. For more in-depth learning, take one of our intensive workshops. Basic Stamping

An introduction to stamping techinques and the various inks that are available.

 

Heat Embossing

We will cover the basics of heat embossing and create several cards.

 

Holiday Cards

 

 

Make five cards for an upcoming holiday, be it Valentine's Day, Easter, Birthdays, Halloween, Christmas, New Years.

 

Santa Fe Cards

We will use our large selection of Santa Fe rubber stamps to make five cards or postcards that reflect the unique nature of Santa Fe.

 

Dreamweaver Stencils

 

Using metal stencils from Dreamweaver, we will make several cards that will introduce the student to the many ways for utilizing stencils in art work. Use your ink pads to create the tag above or emboss metal with the stencils and creating raised images with embossing paste.

 

Artist Trading Cards

 

These are little cards that are always traded and never sold. Learn the basics of making ATCs and participating in an ATC exchange.

 

Distress Inks and Ranger Products

OK kids! This is one fun class. As you may know, Tim Holtz is Ranger Ink's education director, and he comes up with some fun things to play with. We will start with Distress Inks and move on from there as time allows. We can go all day if you would like!
